Our Founder

Madame Jo, our founder, is a testament to resilience and the enduring strength of the human spirit. Born in Canada and of Haitian descent, Madame Jo's journey has been marked by immense hardship, yet she has continually found the strength to persevere. From overcoming personal traumatic events to battling depression, Madame Jo has turned her adversities into a beacon of hope for others.

She started her career in accounting at age 17 and successfully established her own firm at the young age of 28. However, her journey towards self-healing and personal growth led her to realize her true calling - to facilitate healing and empower people. Thus was born Madame Jo Artisan Skincare, a passion project that allowed her to explore the exciting world of self-care through skincare.

A transformative experience with psychedelics during the pandemic led to Madame Jo Artisan Skincare evolving into Madame Jo Wellness Co. But Madame Jo Wellness Co is more than a company; it's a living, breathing entity that encapsulates Madame Jo's journey and the lessons she has learned along the way.
